Zip Wire

Howard J. Ford's 'Zip Wire' presents a compelling high-altitude thriller concept: a scientist, Amy, with a fear of heights, must navigate a treacherous aerial runway to escape nefarious attackers after her groundbreaking discovery is stolen. The film's premise is undeniably engaging, promising a tense survival story against a stunning backdrop. Where the film struggles is in its execution, particularly concerning the writing and plot.

Critics frequently note a lack of depth, describing the narrative as formulaic and predictable, often sacrificing logic for the sake of pace. The dialogue, too, is occasionally clunky, contributing to a storytelling approach that prioritises immediate thrills over coherent development.
