The narrative successfully builds suspense as Margot delves deeper into the mystery, blurring the lines between manufactured horror and genuine terror. The direction is taut and visually compelling, with Goldhaber and cinematographer Isaac Bauman crafting a distinct aesthetic that enhances the film's unsettling atmosphere.
