Dhamaal 4

The fourth instalment in the Dhamaal franchise, 'Dhamaal 4', brings back the beloved ensemble cast for another madcap adventure in pursuit of a treasure. Directed by Indra Kumar, the film attempts to recapture the slapstick humour and chaotic energy that defined its predecessors. While the returning actors, including Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, and Jaaved Jaaferi, put in commendable performances and provide moments of genuine amusement, the film's overall comedic impact is hampered by an outdated screenplay and inconsistent pacing.

The plot, a treasure hunt narrative, treads familiar ground, offering little in the way of novelty. Some critics noted that while the first half might offer a few chuckles, the second half tends to drag, with many gags failing to land with the intended force. The visual effects have been described as a mixed bag, with some sequences appearing convincing while others are criticised for being subpar, particularly AI-generated shots.

The background score, too, has been noted as being overly loud at times.
